McNeave is responsible for development and implementation of the protocols and systems for archiving and distributing local and traditional climate and environmental knowledge, and community-based observation data for the Exchange for Local Observations and Knowledge of the Arctic (ELOKA) program at NSIDC. ELOKA data management needs are driven by both indigenous and scientific community requirements.
